What's in the 603?
Well... supposedly everything is in there. Or at least everything a rural carriers needs to know to do the job.
The Good:
There is lots of good information in the 603. It has numerous examples for how the different varied forms should be completed. It is well structured, and easy to search using the index in the back.
The Bad:
The manual is over 150 pages. Would be very difficult to just sit down and read through. Some of the information tends to be a tad ...stale. For instance, forms will get updated, or switch to electronic versions, but not be mentioned in the 603.
Also, the instructions on how to deliver packages is woefully outdated, and does not really jive with what most learn at Academy.
